I am pleased that Scott Brown won

And I will not bother to write a post about it. Patrick at Popehat did just fine. Well, and Scott Greenfield did too. I have nothing more to add except that I hope someone pours water on Martha Coakley and melts that evil piece of crap.

Always best to focus on the small picture.

  2. Keeping petty tyrants from gaining even more power is the big picture.

Also big picture: teaching Democrats a valuable lesson about not sucking, that might have a long term impact. The lesson: “No, you are not automatically entitled to our votes just because the opponent is a Republican. No, if you put up a nasty lying authoritarian twit with the political skills of a handful of gravel, we will not obediently turn out for that person just because the alternative is a Republican. You actually have to make an effort to field decent, competent candidates. Our votes are not yours as a matter of course and right.”

      Thank you. I agree completely.

Uh, that would be “dissolve”; stuff melts when the temperature is high enough to make it change phase. :)

  5. […] issue with what Marc Randazza says: what he implies is that he is actually happy that Coakley lost more than he is happy about Brown winning, and he is, of course, wrong about her “melting” when hit by water […]

this blog has been hijacked. where’s randazza with the first amendment stuff?

here we have a major first amendment decision today and all we get is republican trolling.

  7. Nonymo says:

or perhaps it was randazza doing the republican trolling. wtf, we can get that anywhere.

I am eagerly awaiting this site’s response to the worst Supreme Court decision since 1857.

Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, corporations are free at last!

      • Nonymo says:

yes, those poor oppressed corporations. it’s about time they have some say in how our government is run after all those years of being marginalized and having no influence.

    I loved the video.
    “Should have stuck with Hillary.”
    Awesome!

Although I still despise the Republicans more than the Dems for the last eight years of Bush, and for the fact that they actually listen to Limbaugh and Beck. The Dems are catching up fast though. Pretty soon I’ll be equally disgusted!

    • Vote Libertarian, my friend. Vote Libertarian.

      • Nonymo says:

Libertarian: Great philosophy, pathetic joke of a political party. I’ve yet to see a single libertarian candidate worthy of elected office.

        • I must agree with you.

However, if enough of us vote Libertarian, perhaps one of the major parties will sit up and notice and start catering to Libertarians. Until then, we’ve got the Dipshit Democrats and the Fascist Republicans.
