Suck it, Don Wildmon!

David Ogden confirmed as #2 at the Department of Justice — despite the fact that he (gasp!) represented adult entertainment clients in the past.

I hope that his first task is to deliver a pink slip to Mary Beth Buchanan.

    Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., said he was “alarmed” by a nominee for the No. 2 job at the department “who has repeatedly represented the pornography industry and its interests.”

    I’ve grown used to the fact that most citizens resent and mistrust lawyers who represent unpopular people, even if they believe in some vague, abstract way that SOMEONE should represent them.

    But I wish I could expect better from our lawmakers, most of whom are lawyers themselves.

      Shouldn’t the politicians first look into their own campaigns, conflicting promises, and complete lack of any conviction prior to criticizing lawyers clients.
