I’ve grown used to the fact that most citizens resent and mistrust lawyers who represent unpopular people, even if they believe in some vague, abstract way that SOMEONE should represent them.
But I wish I could expect better from our lawmakers, most of whom are lawyers themselves.
Shouldn’t the politicians first look into their own campaigns, conflicting promises, and complete lack of any conviction prior to criticizing lawyers clients.
