Prior post was bullshit.
A photo is making the rounds, claiming that today err…ummm yesterday is err… umm was the day that Marty McFly arrives at when he takes the DeLorean into the future.
This is wrong. The real date is Oct. 21, 2015.
Of course, what is REALLY funny about the original post is that I didn’t even realize that January 4, 2013 was already more than 12 hours in the past when I posted it.
Please return to your regularly scheduled reading of blogs written by people who don’t know what day it is, not in real life, nor in fiction.
Well that’s a relief. For a moment, there, I was afraid we didn’t have time to build those flying cars, levitating scateboards, and talking sneakers.
I don’t reckon it was a true story anyway.
I was listening to a radio station, like 101.9 maybe, and between songs they mentioned that this was true. Well, one of their guests did at least, he said, “Here’s some trivia for you, the date Marty McFly traveled to in Back to the Future II? January 4, 2013.” To which the host replied, “Really, wow, that is amazing, how do you notice and remember small things like that?” Of course, we all started repeating this as fact as well. So next thing you know, it travels more than you may realize. Now watch, by the time October 26, 2015, comes around, this will not even be news.
I wasn’t aware that this hoax was going around, but I remembered that it was 2015, because it was 30 years in the future, matching the 30 years in the past Marty McFly traveled in the original Back to Future. Furthermore, the third one largely took place in 1885, making all dates end in 5.
