A Washington Grand Jury indicted Roger Clemens for lying to Congress in a deposition and in under-oath testimony before a congressional committee. He falsely denied, while under oath, ever using steroids. Clemens faces 30 years in jail and a $1.5 million fine. (source)

Why is congress even involved? This is government overreach. I don’t care if using steroids (honestly, baseball needs anything it can get to make it interesting) breaks the rules — since when is it’s congress’s business anyway?
There’s really no pie they won’t stick their finger into?
It’s a GAME. Why Congress is wasting resource, taxpayer money, time, and effort on a GAME is beyond me.
