I’m surprised the EFF or somebody doesn’t challenge the content producer’s “right” not to have us defeat the technology that prevents us from skipping the “unskippable” parts. Copyright is a right to prohibit copying and public performances, not a right to tell consumers how to spend their time. “DRM” systems that defend such a non-right can and should be cracked for everyone.
But… but… they need to put in all those ads to finance their campaign of persecution prosecution of all those people who can watch the movie without all the ads….
Thank you for bringing a voice to our frustration!
