The book is Lords of Chaos, a kind of historical account of the Norwegian Black Metal movement of the early 1990s, which involved some church burnings and a murder. I read it over Christmas 2009 and thought it was okay, though it could have been written better, and focused on the church burnings and underlying causes for young people causing the destruction they did during that time period.

i didn’t see any matting protecting the glass table. and does the book have anything to do with the church?

This really makes me want to teach kids how to craft and burn. Truly inspirational.
