  1. Sweet Jesus. Just buy the damn book and do the practice tests. You’re either good at this sort of thing or you’re not.

    What a serious waste of time and money. While it’s been a few years since law school, that is more than what BARBRI charged for its bar review class. A few bucks for the study guide and a few weeks of practice should be enough.

    Sure, why not tack on an extra 12 grand to the rest of the 150 grand you’ll waste going to law school?

    Seriously? I bought an Arco test prep book and studied by doing practice tests during spring break — usually at 2:00 am. Of course, this was back when the LSAT consisted of four questions, and we had to etch our answers in clay with pointed wooden sticks.

    Maybe this is actually part of the test: If you are stupid enough to pay $8-11K for test prep, you are not qualified for law school.
