You Sinful Front Huggers Can Go to Hell! You Go to Hell and Die!

I’m almost positive this is for real and not parody.  The rough riders for Christ part is what kills me.  Lawd, I can’t take much more.

After some Googlin’ and link hittin’, I’m pretty sure it is not a parody. Wow.

  2. Jay Says:

Fan-fucking-tastic… wow. Jesus must be proud. I love the almost-crotch-grabs as well; it’s almost nothing like street-cred, yo.

  3. Marty Says:

    Pat Boone must be proud.

I heard about this. It’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen come out of “Christian” music. I think they’re getting more press for being ridiculous than for anything else.

  5. John Says:

Why would you do that to me?

  6. Randall BusTard Says:

In 1996 I published an article about xtian bands in the hippie, rock, metal and punk scenes. Although it covered the burgeoning trend through the 1960s, ’70s and 80s, the focus was primarily on the exploding scene in the 1990s that was prompted by Tooth and Nail, a label out of the NW USA. The appropriation of every punk rock cliche was the foundation of the label’s bands.
However, I have to admit that the abundance of cliches in the above video is not only astounding but amazing in the way that they have been rendered in such a retarded fashion. “I’m a rough rider/filled with christ’s love” while the slow beat of John William’s Darth Vader leitmotif plays over the audience and the vocalists lift their right legs to imply offering their tender assholes to an unseen entity (while saying the second line), sounds like a homosexual fantasy of galactic proportions.

Were I still publishing, I would do a follow-up of the original article starting with this act.
