Farting and Blowjobs

In Flori-duh, a 12 year old boy was placed under arrest for farting in class, and in Georgia, a woman is going to lose her home because she gave her boyfriend a blowjob three weeks before he turned 16 — when she was 17 years old. She was convicted of “sodomy” and had to register as a sex offender for life.

    In regards to the Georgia case, this strikes me as an extraordinary miscarriage of Justice, but then again I feel that the whole sex offender registry thing has gone to far in this country. I also don’t feel that people engaged in consensual sex should receive the same treatment and labeling as someone who forced someone else to have sex with them.

    This is just absolutely disgusting. I think Jeff makes the point that more and more people are starting to get.

    It’s time for a major statutory overhaul.
