Writing about Sarah Palin:
Palin has made the biggest step forward in feminism since Madonna channeled the dominatrix persona of high-glam Marlene Dietrich and rammed pro-sex, pro-beauty feminism down the throats of the prissy, victim-mongering, philistine feminist establishment.
That’s not the entire thesis of her article, which is brilliant from drop cap to the final period.

Wow, i really disagreed with some of her statements, particularly the kind of “new feminism” Palin is apparently representing. This post served as a reminder that I planned on re-reading Paglia’s essay to write about it. In my mind it needed further analysis before I jumped the gun but straight after reading it, I needed a break to “cool off” as it did more for my heart rate than anything. I’ll look at it again with a more open mind.
I truly dislike Palin’s feminist and political representation though and admit to being biased here. She’s attractive but that’s as much credit as I can give at the moment. I think… well, I’ll stop here… This is going to be a tough one to think through without having my personal feelings take over. :-)
