Another Day, Another Stupid “Droopy Pants” Law

This one will be state-wide if it passes. Brought to you by Florida’s most moronic legislator, Gary Siplin. Source.

I really can’t say much more about these laws than I said in this post: Baldwin, Florida – Another Day, Another Peckerwood Town Passes Another Dumb Law.

Well, except that it is refreshing to see a black guy pushing for one of these laws for once.

I for one, hope the law goes through. As fads go, that droopy drawers fad has been around way too long. Although when I watch cops ans see them chasing a punk that falls down because his pants are too low and he ends up getting captured…I have to laugh. Note to criminals, if you want to be able to outrun a cop…where trousers that fit you. While they’re at it, the Senate could also pass a law banning rap music from, well…anyplace. I am so sick of waiting at a traffic light and some high schoolers roll up in the next lane or for that matter anywhere around the intersection, having the rap played at 85 decibels. I would be much more tolerant if they were playing R&B, Country, Rock, Lounge or most any other music.

Note to anyone disagreeing with my previous statement about Rap. The difference in that versus other music is that Country, Rock R&B, Lounge, Easy Listening, etc…Rap has no melody, melody is a prime component of music. Rap is making up rhymes. Music isn’t a factor when creating rhyme.
